ABOUT THE ARTIST

My Journey

Growing up in Eden on the south coast of NSW I loved the bush and the sea. Even though I now live in Canberra, that hasn't changed and much of my art is inspired by what I find beautiful in nature. I was studying Accounting and Actuarial Studies at ANU when I decided that quality of life is more important than money and transferred to a Design Arts degree that I graduated from in 2017. A residency at The Wetlands and Woodlands trust consolidated by passion for the native environment and I am decided to go back to uni to learn more about biodiversity conservation and science communication. Sharing my passion for conservation with other artists led to a new passion for curating ongoing multidisciplinary group exhibitions which are inclusive, noncompetitive and free for artists.

Reconciliation week exhibition 'Journeys'

I am excited to be part of a group exhibition at the Belconnen community centre for reconciliation week. The opening will be on 23rd May from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The theme is 'Don't make history a mystery' and my work is inspired by The Bundian way - an ancient walkway between the coat at Eden and Mt Kosciusko.
