Art exhibition at The Link Exhibition space in Ginninderry that runs from 8 December to 17 January 2021.

Official opening:
Sunday 13th December 2020 2pm

The opening will include an interactive ephemeral art workshop by Madeleine Tranter, a speech by Sho Rapley (spoken word performance art) and a poem read by Robin Davidson.

This is a community exhibition by local artists who are all passionate about their love of our local biodiversity.

As the curator, my aim of the exhibition is to share the love of our natural environment via art to our community. To encourage more people to care and feel joy and connection to the precious ecosystems and species that are still here.
Precious Habitats includes a variety of mediums and materials: sculptures in steel, bronze, clay and wax. 2D work of paintings, drawings, embroidery prints and photographs. Poems, written and spoken words.

Unique items, limited editions or making multiples
Many of my items are one-off but I also make moulds of my more challenging sculptures and make limited numbered editions of 42. Some of my pieces (such as the bee) I have outsourced the mould and do runs of around 100 before reworking a master.

Custom Made
Satisfaction Guaranteed
Custom made jewellery. If you have an idea, I'd love to help make it a reality. I mainly work in sculpting wax and then casting in a variety of metals.

Workshops and classes
Safe and fun for all ages and abilities
Private or groups of up to six and inclusive of those with special needs. I can come to you or meet in one of Canberra's beautiful parks. We work in a soft non-toxic wax to create a master that is then sent away to be cast in a metal of your choice. Suitable for birthday parties, special occasions or just an everyday creative experience.
